What to send first
- Use RSI4Science in the subject. Explain the resource, its possible scientific use and the feedback it could provide.
- Include public source links and one representative example. You can attach a draft from the contribution form; a draft is optional.
- Mention the version and reuse terms, and any questions you have about preparing the data.
Request review of a checked package
Include the saved check report, usage card, exact resource version and public source links. Keep the matching manifest and records ready for review; agree a permitted transfer route before sharing restricted files. Package files and examples.
Report an example run
Include the example version, command, expected and observed results, and relevant output. Mention your Python version or environment if the example failed to run. Email your reproduction notes.
For a correction, include the page address, the statement and supporting evidence.
An enquiry starts a conversation.
An enquiry does not automatically accept a contribution or assign a task. The source repository is private and available by invitation. Review enquiries use email; public GitHub submissions are not used. The website’s draft builder does not send messages or upload files.
Share public descriptions and links initially. Keep restricted datasets, credentials and protected evaluation answers out of messages. Publication and reuse permissions are agreed separately.
How your local inputs are handled
The draft form runs in your browser. It does not upload your answers or save them on a server. When you switch languages in this tab, the form temporarily transfers its drafts through this tab’s session storage. The destination consumes and removes that transfer; abandoned transfers expire after 2 minutes and are discarded on a later form visit. This is not a saved draft library. Download or copy your draft before leaving the page. The downloaded file stays on your device until you choose to share it.
The package checker also runs in your browser: selected files are read locally and are not uploaded. Fonts are hosted with the site. The site does not include analytics or advertising scripts. A hosting provider may keep ordinary request logs. Following an external link or sending email uses that service’s own privacy practices.
